It’s recommended that you wait to buy them until a few weeks before the wedding. Many bridal stores sell shoes that can be dyed to almost every hue imaginable. If you bring in a small piece of the fabric from the dress they will be able to dye the shoes to exactly match the flower girl dress.

Being chosen to take part in a wedding can be a bit overwhelming for a small child. Be certain to explain the both the flower girl and the ring bearer that you don’t expect perfection. They do need to walk down the aisle and stay quiet through the ceremony but their participation and their presence are really the most important things.
